What is a desiccant dehumidifier and when do I need one?
A desiccant dehumidifier pulls moisture from the air using a silica-gel rotor instead of refrigerant coils, so it reaches much lower dew points and keeps working in cold or low-humidity conditions. Rent one for structural drying, hardwood floors, large commercial losses, and any job where standard LGR units stall out.
How big of a desiccant dehumidifier do I need?
Desiccant units are sized by process CFM. Our trailer-mounted 5,000 CFM unit covers most large commercial and structural drying jobs; for warehouses and disaster response we scale up. Tell us the space and water class in the quote form and we'll size it for you.
